You will need your camera with a fully charged battery (and a spare), memory cards, a tripod (highly recommended - but not absolutely necessary), and a water bottle. It's also a good idea to bring a snack - and important to be prepared for changes in weather, including having a light jacket, hat and sunscreen.
Workshop participants will be provided with directions to the meeting place on the islands once they are registered.
Workshop attendees will be sent an email at least 4 hours prior to the start time indicating if the workshop will be going ahead as planned. High possibilities of rain in the forecast will be the main factor in determining if the workshop will proceed. If a workshop is cancelled, attendees will be offered the option of rescheduling to a future session or a full refund.
The photogrpahy workshop groups are always small - 6 people or less. We tailor the workshop to each individual's experience and skill level - we want to help you to take the time to get amazing images, and not be rushed.
If you are not happy with the workshop (eg, you didn't learn anything useful, or did not have fun), we will refund 100% of your payment.
We will be visiting a number of locations on the islands, so there will be quite a bit of walking during the workshop. Please wear comfortable shoes. (This workshop is not recommended for those who may experience health issues which may be compounded by this activity.)
Cancelations made 48 hours before the workshop begins will be refunded, less a $30 admin fee. Any cancelations less than 48 hours from the start of the workshop are not refundable. (After the workshop, if you were not happy with the experience, we will refund the full amount.)
The cost of aour 4 hour workshop is $160 CAD. This amount includes the workshop on the Toronto Islands, plus we will be accessible by email after the workshop for to answer any post production questions you may have, for feedback on your images, or for tips on other great photographic locations on the islands.
Please contact us for group, or two day workshop pricing - or for info on private lessons/tours.
